WAYZATA (January 24, 2007 ) – Steiner Construction Services, LLC has been awarded the Minnesota Construction Association's 2007 Award of Excellence in the "Renovation or Tenant Improvement" category for the UCare Minnesota Headquarters project.

The original 120,000 square foot structure in Minneapolis was built in the early 1900's. The three-story masonry and heavy timber structure was initially designed for warehouse purposes. The challenge for Steiner Construction's team was to convert a century-old warehouse into a Class "A" office building for the new corporate headquarters for UCare Minnesota. Project architect was the Smith Group.
