The original site for this prototype Aldi Grocery Center consisted of two parcels; a convenient store and restaurant. The finished 16,117 sf building, exterior design, and layout incorporates the Sun Ray-Suburban neighborhood revitalization vision for pedestrian friendly access. The site also utilizes the innovative StormTech undergroud water retention system to manage storm run-off and meet regulations.

This project was the first Aldi Food Market in Minnesota to reflect the client's new design and prototype. Today, because of the aesthetics and location, the new Aldi Food Market provides the owner with one of their highest profile stores in the State of Minnesota.
